A Regular Clean includes the same cleaning tasks as a Once Off Clean. Our housekeepers will supply the required products and perform the below tasks on a recurring basis, on a pre-determined day and time of the week that suits our client.
You will be assigned the same housekeeper. Regular cleaning will provide you with the best housekeeping services results as your place will always be maintained regularly by the same person. The main focus of a Regular Clean by default will first be on your bathrooms and floors and afterwards on kitchen surfaces and dusting.

Absolutely not. There are no lock in contracts.
The size and condition of your home will determine how many hours are required. Each home will require a different amount of hours to achieve desired results. The service is charged hourly and you have the freedom to choose the level of cleaning by determining the hours. Hourly cleaning will ensure you are only paying for what you need as opposed to a fixed price. By increasing the hours you book, you are able to receive more cleaning. We don’t provide home visit quotes. All of our housekeeping services are charged hourly. Our housekeeping services prices are available on our website. There are no hidden fees and you will know the total cost of the appointment at the time of your booking. The appointment cost is determined purely based on the hours booked. A Once Off Clean and a Regular Clean is generally performed by one person. In some cases depending on the size, condition of the home and whether the service is a Deep Clean, a team of housekeepers may be assigned to your appointment.
Absolutely. If you book a Regular Clean with us we will assign you the same housekeeper. In the event your housekeeper is sick we will endeavour to arrange a replacement housekeeper for you.
It’s not necessary to be home when the housekeeper arrives. You can leave your housekeeper a key in a safe pre-determined place that was communicated prior. Your housekeeper will then return the key to the same location. You are more than welcome to meet your housekeeper on your initial appointment and give them a walk through of your home. We will greatly appreciate if you could let us know in advance if you require changes in the cleaning schedule. We will endeavour to find you a new spot with your housekeeper that will suit your requirements.
Yes, we offer two types of gift cards. You can purchase physical gift cards with custom printed messages or electronic gift cards that are emailed to the recipient instantly. You can find more information and purchase gift cards here.
Our housekeepers will not hold onto client keys for security purposes. If you are not home you are welcome to leave your housekeeper a key in a safe pre-determined place that was communicated prior. Once the housekeeper has finished cleaning by default the housekeeper will put the key back in the same pre-determined location. Upon request your housekeeper can also leave the key inside your home and lock the front door upon exiting. Most clients will leave their key in a key combination safe for their housekeeper. Your housekeeper will bring all the required cleaning products for your appointment. Your housekeeper will use your equipment (vacuum & mop) for hygiene purposes. Inner Melbourne Maids will cover up to $500 for property damaged or broken as a result of the housekeeper’s negligence.
Payment is due on your appointment day upon completion of the cleaning. Payment is payable via cash or electronic funds transfer (EFT). The recommended payment option is cash unless the housekeeper has a preference for EFT. Payment is made directly to your housekeeper after each service, not to Inner Melbourne Maids.
All of our housekeepers can provide you with a receipt for the service they are providing. If you would like a receipt after each clean please advise your housekeeper.
Yes, if for any reason you are unhappy with your housekeeper we would like you to tell us. We will most definitely be able to assign you a different housekeeper. Our clients happiness is our highest priority.
Most definitely. We are very strict with our selection criteria of our registered housekeepers. Each housekeeper goes through a lengthy selection and registration process before they are assigned to clients’ homes. You can rest assured all of our housekeepers are trustworthy. All of our housekeepers also are pre-interviewed, interviewed, go through character assessment,vetted and police checked.

Who is Inner Melbourne Maids?
IMM initially started with one person, our founder Paula Rod who began cleaning homes for her clients based in Footscray. Paula's unparalleled attention to quality and detail, and her unique systematic approach to cleaning resulted in the creation of a formula which delivered a consistent high standard cleaning to each home. Her remarkable style of cleaning was noticed shortly by her clients. She became popular and highly recommended amongst her client base for her skills, cleaning system and character.
As demand for her cleaning expertise grew, Paula coordinated with a network of independent cleaning professionals, all sharing her commitment to quality and detail. Through word-of-mouth recommendations, Paula became well-regarded within the inner west mums community of Melbourne, and the agency's network of registered professional cleaners she facilitated was frequently sought after for their services.
Later on, through further recommendations new clients started pouring in from Melbourne's inner city and inner south east suburbs. Inundated with all the new requests for home cleaning she was faced with two options; to either decline the extra work as her and the team were fully booked out or find a way to be able service new clients without compromising on the quality of service that she has been providing to existing clients. She decided on the latter and as a result founded Inner Melbourne Maids, a cleaning agency for Melbourne's inner south east and inner city suburbs.
She formed the agency and its operations based around her experience, know how, proven cleaning system and processes with the goal to ensure that each client will consistently receive a high standard clean, the same she had always been providing her clients herself. She succeeded and as a result of her and the teams efforts IMM has become Melbourne's Premier Cleaning Agencyβ’.
